Let's talk aboutthe impact on the planet

There’s a lot to love about Nurishh, starting with our wide variety of delishh plant-based alternatives. And it gets even better, we have partnered with sustainability consultancy Quantis to calculate the environmental impacts of our plant-based alternatives in Estonia at each stage of their lifecycle from ingredient sourcing through consumer consumption compared to dairy equivalents. The research shows that our plant-based alternatives generate at least:

3 time less greenhouse gas emissions    than the same quantity of dairy equivalents*.

3 time less greenhouse gas emissions than the same quantity of dairy equivalents*.

This means that when you choose our tasty alternatives, you’re saving at least:

6,3 kg of CO2 than the same quantity of dairy equivalents,    the equivalent of 66 days non-stop led light saved!

6,3 kg of CO2 than the same quantity of dairy equivalents, the equivalent of 66 days non-stop led light saved!

Nurishh’s plant-based alternatives try to be as concerned about the planet as they are about everyone’s taste buds

*Based on peer-reviewed comparative lifecycle assessments conducted by Quantis in 2022 of Nurishh Plant-based Slices Mozzarella Flavour compared with Mozzarella Slices dairy equivalent cheese, both sold in Estonia. The term dairy equivalent is used to describe a cheese of similar usage to a plant based alternative to cheese. Please note that cheese and plant based alternatives to cheese often have different nutritional profiles. For more information see technical summary PDF link.
